Free admission. Privately owned and
operated. Naturalist-in-residence.
Public restroom for visitors only. On-site golf cart makes most areas
handicap accessible.
All visitors (or parents/guardians) must sign a liability waiver.
Morningstar Refuge cannot be responsible for loss or injury.
Tips: You may want to bring a pair of binoculars, a notebook to
note seasonal observations, and your favorite guidebook for birds and
plants. |

Larger adult clubs and groups accepted. Call first for details and

We are in the migratory flyway. Over 250 species have been documented in

Rules, Do's and Don'ts |
- No smoking, littering or
alcohol.
- No pets allowed.
- No bicycles or baby strollers.
- Do NOT pick flowers, leaves,
ferns, mushrooms, berries or other natural specimen.
- Do NOT stray from trails.
- Do NOT disturb the home of any
wildlife, including all nests.
- Do NOT interfere with daily
activities of the animals.
- Do NOT remove nests, bones,
skins, or other objects.
- Do NOT alter or move any trail
signs.
- Please DO walk slowly and speak
softly.
- Please DO touch and smell
(carefully, without harming)
- Please DO observe
- Please DO use binoculars.
- Please DO take photos or videos.
- Please DO use bird and plant
identification guides.
- Please DO have a wonderful time
in this special place!
